White Rose Collectibles
White Rose Collectibles was a company found in 1988 and whom commissioned Matchbox to produce some of their products. Matchbox utilised existing castings but any White Rose release was made exclusively for them and would not appear in the standard Matchbox line up.
The production of Matchbox models for White Rose ended in 1998 after the company was taken over by Mattel, Inc.

1991 saw the release of specially commissioned Matchbox models from White Rose Collectibles. All these models used current molds but where released in limited edition liveries that were unavailable on the regular line.

As the models have changed over the decades, so to have the wheels that were used. Originally all cars had solid metal or plastic wheels with no real design or pattern to them. With the introduction of the Superfast range in 1970 came the first of a range of patterned wheels and in a variety of colours to suit each model.
