Yesteryear Box Type – F

In 1968 Yesteryear boxes were completely overhauled, In order to present the models on the shelves of large shops and supermarkets the window box was developed which enabled the model inside to be viewed.

The boxes were yellow with a band of pink running down the left hand side. The card insert was generally blue or yellow.

There are some variations to be found on this box, the difference can be found in the text printed below the ‘Matchbox’ logo and model description on the front of the box.
