Based on the casting first released as MB256 this version was modified for a special Taco Bell – USA promotion release with the removal of the interior and the roof top gun.

The new casting was retooled by agreement between Mattel, Inc. & Strottman International Inc. Using the original Matchbox molds.

1998 saw a series of 4 vehicles released exclusively through Taco Bell stores in the USA. Each model was a current casting with blanked out windows and the interior removed.

A successful promotion for both companies saw it return with 4 more vehicles in 1999

First released in 1994 as MB256 the casting was modified for this release after the roof mounted gun was removed. The casting also appeared in 1997 as MB329 and again in 1998 as MB375.
